Descripción
Planitop Rasa & Ripara is a single-component, thixotropic cementitious mortar, made up of special hydraulic binders, selected fine-grained aggregates, synthetic polyacrylonitrile fibers, synthetic resins and special additives, according to a formula developed in MAPEI's R&D laboratories.
CHARACTERISTICS
Planitop Rasa & Ripara, mixed with water, transforms into an easily workable mortar, applicable vertically with a trowel or trowel, for the execution of plastering and repairs from 3 to 40 mm thick in a single coat.
Planitop Rasa & Ripara hardens without shrinkage and is characterized, thanks to the presence of synthetic resins, by excellent adhesion on concrete supports.
Planitop Rasa & Ripara, after hardening, has the following characteristics:
- Excellent adhesion both on old concrete (≥ 1.5 MPa), as long as it has been previously moistened with water, and on the reinforcing steel, especially if it has been treated with Mapefer or Mapefer 1K, realkalizing anticorrosive cementitious mortars, compliant with EN 1504-7 “Protection against corrosion of reinforcement”;
- High dimensional stability and, therefore, reduced risks of cracks and cracks, both in the plastic phase and after hardening;
- Thermal compatibility with freeze-thaw cycles, measured according to the EN 1542 adhesion test;
- Low water permeability
IMPORTANT NOTICES
- Do not apply Planitop Rasa & Ripara on smooth supports: the surface of the support must be roughened first.
- Do not apply Planitop Rasa & Ripara on dry surfaces
- Do not add cement or additives to Planitop Rasa & Ripara
- Do not add water to the mixture, once it has begun to harden, in order to make it workable again.
- Do not use Planitop Rasa & Ripara for repairs to be carried out with a plastering machine, since setting begins after only 30 minutes.
- Do not leave Planitop Rasa & Ripara bags exposed to the sun before use
- Do not use Planitop Rasa & Ripara at temperatures below +5 °C
- Do not use Planitop Rasa & Ripara if the bag is damaged or already opened previously.
- Do not use Planitop Rasa & Ripara for precision anchors (in this case, use Mapefill or Mapefill R)
FIELDS OF APPLICATION
- Non-structural repair and plastering of horizontal and vertical concrete surfaces, indoors and outdoors, indicated for the repair of structures in permanent contact with water
SOME APPLICATION EXAMPLES
- Quick repair of degraded parts of concrete, edges of beams, edges of pillars, enclosure panels, cornices and balcony fronts
- Quick regularization of surface defects present in concrete structures, such as gravel nests, spacer holes, concreting joints, etc., before proceeding with painting
- Repair and regularization of concrete moldings in buildings, such as slab edges, protruding and decorative elements
- Repair of prefabricated structures
