Descripción
Lampocem is a premixed powder binder, composed of high-strength cements and special additives, according to the formula developed in the MAPEI Research Laboratories. Lampocem does not contain chlorides. Lampocem, mixed with water, gives rise to a mass of plastic-thixotropic consistency, easily applicable even vertically, without sagging and without the need for formwork. Lampocem has a very fast setting time (around 3 minutes at +20°C)
CHARACTERISTICS
After hardening, it has the following qualities:
- very high mechanical resistance to compression and bending after 3 hours;
- low retraction;
- It does not reduce its long-term benefits.
RECOMMENDATIONS
- Do not use Lampocem to repair degraded concrete structures (use Mapegrout line mortars).
- Do not use Lampocem for anchoring machines or supporting structures (use Mapefill).
- Do not use Lampocem for leveling, plastering or repairing floors, walls or steps (use Nivorapid).
- Do not apply Lampocem on dry or dirty surfaces.
- Do not mix Lampocem with more water than prescribed and do not add more water to the mixture if it has already started to set.
- Do not add lime, cement or plaster to Lampocem.
- Do not leave Lampocem bags exposed to the sun before use.
FIELDS OF APPLICATION
Quick fixings of any type on vertical and horizontal surfaces, in concrete and masonry.
Some application examples
- Placing manhole covers on the streets.
- Fixing of claws, pipes, toilets and hinges.
- Placement of subframes, made of wood and metal.
- Placement of boxes and pods for electrical installations.
- Fixing wooden dowels.
- Sealing cement pipes, sewers, cisterns, etc.
- Stopping slight water leaks in buried structures, basements and elevator pits.
